Just go up to someone and check out their card and see where the synergies lie! It's fun and easy to do, since your index card helps start the conversation. So, even for the shy folks - it's a piece of cake! For those of you who simply hate the phoniness of some networking events, this is the place to be, because you cut to the chase.
