I've got an impress a guy story.  First of all, it's vital to know:
I'm lactose intolerant. So. I'd been dating this guy for a while. His parents were in town and we decided to meet at a small but really great restaurant for dinner. Did I mention this would be the first time I met them? Everything was going great, everyone was laughing and having a great time and getting a little buzzed on Saki. Then- SURPRISE! A big ICECREAM CAKE is brought out from the back. His parents had brought it in before we got there since my birthday was the night before. Well, instead of doing the smart thing and saying "I'm lactose intolerant" I crumbled at their urging and had just a little piece hoping it would be ok.
Before the check even came my stomach started rumbling and I mean LOUD. There was no helping it. I had to GO and I mean NOW. So I excuse myself and go to the restroom which our table happened to be not far enough away from. After about 10 minutes in there my boyfriend came and knocked on the door and asked if I was ok. So that's not embarrassing enough. By the time I was through everyone was waiting outside and when I walked through the restaurant everyone in the back half where the bathroom was and we were sitting stared at me walking by. I thought it was my imagination until I heard one kid tell his mom it stinks! Seriously. Stunk out the back half of the restaurant. His parents had concerned looks when I went out side and asked if I was alright! I was sooooo embarrassed!  AHHHH! It felt like living a Ben Stiller movie!

Back in the day when the mini dress was popular and I was young enough to wear one, I put on a silver sparkle mini dress and some silver glitter covered platform shoes ready to mingle.  I was meeting a friend at a bar.  The bar was located on the lower level.  While walking down the stairs, the friction of the glitter on my shoes made me fall head first into the arms of an unknown man who happen to be standing at the bottom of the stairs playing pool.   Thank God he wasn't to drunk to catch me( and the pool stick didn't hurt too much either).  The bar went silent with the exception of my friend laughing her butt off.  Needless to say, I thanked the man and turn around and went home.  We couldn't stop laughing about it the next day at work.  I have never told anybody this story ...please don't tell my kids:-)

I told her I was a high jumper, and there was a GIANT trashcan ahead, and I attempted to jump over it. Made it almost all the way over, but ended up landing on the very corner with my bum hole and fell to the ground. Then I had a bruised bum hole. XD  Too much info? Nahh. =P

About Park Bench
Set on a park bench in Central Park in NYC, Park Bench is a comedy about two best friends, Matt and Adam, single and in their mid 20's. They tease and mock each other at every opportunity. Join us as we sit down with Matt and Adam in Central Park and enjoy their crazy antics.
About the characters
Matt is a big fan of the ladies yet he can never seem to hold onto one for more than a few weeks. He tends to be the more level headed of the two and is always there to lend a helping hand. He thinks of Adam as a little brother, he would do anything for him, but he likes to tease him from time to time as any good friend does.

Adam is a sensitive guy, but it would be pulling teeth to get him to admit it. Emotionally extreme and often opinionated, his friendship with Matt keeps him grounded in lieu of a lasting relationship. The bench is his safe zone. A hub for exchange and an inimitable vantage point for people watching. NYC is his 'European Vacation' after college, and he has no intention of heading home soon.In the end Matt and Adam are like two brothers, nothing can come between them.
About the Bench
The Bench is like a therapist's office, you can say anything and you will be heard, you might get made fun of or abused, but you will be heard.
