    I think Pacquiao is the p4p best.  He started at 105.  Now he is fighting at 135 and there are discussions of a fight between Hatton and Pacquiao at 140? (although I think that is one one fight away because Hatton is fighting Malignaggi in October).  The Torres v. Holt rematch was entertaining...for all of 1 round.  A rubber match is required because Torres got caught with a headbutt that really served as the catalyst for that KO.  Klitschko fights Thompson on Saturday, which is intrigueing only because Thompson nearly matches Klitschko in the height/reach department.  Oh and check out Ademak on Friday Night Fights this Friday.

    This past weekend I went to the Mohegan Sun and saw Sergio Mora upset Vernon Forrest and Paul Williams KO Carlos Quintana.  Great time.  One week from Saturday  Arthur Abraham battles Edison Miranda in Florida...

    Dawson - Johnson: I think Glenn Johnson would give anybody problems because his relentless pressing style.  He has beat a lot of very capable fighters including Tarver and Woods.  I agree with you that the fight was a lot closer than the cards made it out to be although like you, I think Dawson won.  I think Dawson showed a lot of poise hanging in there after taking the pummelling he took.  When they fought on the outside, Dawson was faster and a much better boxer.  Dawson would beat Tarver. Tarver doesn't press like Johnson presses and on the outside Dawson's handspeed and boxing skills would prove Tarver's undoing.  

    Cotto - Margarito will be an awesome fight.  I don't think Floyd will fight Cotto or Margarito. Of course, it is the fight we want to see the most, but why should he when he can make more money fighting safer opponents like De La Hoya and Hatton?  The only way it will happen is if De La Hoya loses to Steve Forbes and Hatton loses in one of his next two fights.  I think Margarito might pose the bigger challenge for Floyd because at 5'11 1/2, he is significantly bigger than Floyd at 5'8 and has a longer reach (73" compared to 72"). I could be wrong.  Cotto is ruthless and has a helluva resume with wins over Mosley, Judah, Quintana, Malignaggi, N'dou, and Urkal.  If Cotto beats Margarito, he deserves the fight.

    Woods will probably beat Tarver on the cards.  Dawson will completely
    outbox Johnson (I think he might hold the light heavyweight belt for a
    long time).  Gomez will stay around until he feels Cotto's right hand,
    and then he is done.  The last match is a close call.  I'll pick
    Margarito because he won the first fight between the two, but Cintron
    is a live competitor.

    Very good fight weekend.  We have another good one coming: David Haye v. Enzo Maccaranelli (sp?) and Sam Peter v. Oleg Maskaev.  I think both on Saturday.
