What is Freestyle?

History of Freestyle

Known for his hits in the 80's like Because I Love You and Party Your Body, Stevie B has continued his Freestyle influence today with a remake of his popular song, Spring Love and his new album, "This Time." Stevie B started in South Florida and his songs frequented the Latin nightclubs of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale before hitting the mainstream US music scene. Stevie B was one of the first musicians to perform Freestyle, a popular music style that started in the Latino communities of Miami and New York and is characterized by Latin rhythms, heartthrob lyrics and electronic music.
