Hey hey!  I am going tonight. I tried on Sunday at 12:15 AM but traffic in Orlando was too heavy. If I had some cream pies with me I would have been lobbing them at all my fellow motorist! Full report tomorrow!  SF

Hey, hey Kids! Its your old pal, Krusty. Sorry to report that again, I did not see the Simpsons movie last night. Krusty was enjoying a light Thai meal anticipating the fun that would be the Simpsons movie, when his boss at the studio called him back to work on urgent business. All’s well that ends well. Krusty gets to keep his timeslot, and maybe I will see it tonight. At this point I ain’t makin’ no promises. Meanwhile, keep the spoilers out of it, and tell us what you thought of the movie! K

OK - so I saw the movie and while I am not the Simpsons fan of the house (my better half is), I have to say I laughed an awful lot during the 1 1/2 hours it played. I won't spoil it for you, but I will say it delivered what I would expect and for a show I don't really watch, I was entertained. Dare i say sequel will be on the way? :)

Hey hey! I finally made it to the theater last night! I am going to see it again, maybe this weekend! I laughed the whole time. I enjoyed listening to the two types of audience; the younglings, and the die hard adult fans. There was much common ground for laughs, but sometimes there was a distinct segregation to the humor. Lots of content aimed towards us “big kids†and some for the wee ones too. Movie goers got to enjoy the splendor of the big wide aspect screen and lots of computer generated content that was very sharp. One good example of the latter: the Simpson family was driving down a street, camera straight thru the front windshield, and the side and rear view of Springfield zooms by in crisp3-D. No repeating mat that rolls by over and over as it does in the TV show. The plot held it’s own, and takes them to several interesting locations. Albert Brooks was AWESOM. I believe he has lent his substantial voice/comedic talent to the show only two times in the 18 years it has been around. He had a fairly large part in the movie and was quite amusing. So, go see the Simpsons Movie and you will say woo-hoo! Not D’oh! SF

Wow! I LOVED the movie. I went with a dozen friends the day I got back from my honeymoon and we laughed until it hurt. As a long time fan of The Simpsons, I was so relieved that it stayed true to what the show is, while embracing the new style that film offers, it was very cinematic. I don't really have any complaints. I think I'll go see it again. Also, the pig stole every scene he was in. And to do that in a movie with hundreds of scene stealing characters, thats pretty fantastic.

Me again, I just want to agree that Albert Brooks was fantastic, his speech about the tough guys and the soft guys was amazing. I remember him as a car salesman and Homer's new boss (Scorpio?), but I'm sure he has done other roles. Also Tom Hanks was awesome. I could go on.

Albert Brooks also ran a camp that homer sent Bart to. I realy can't remember much except there is a great bit at the end where he is driving away and going off on a tangent. There is something about a hamburger. I think I will have to find that one and see it again.

FAN FAN FANTASTIC! We saw it and laughed. It stayed so true to the show. I was so glad. I thought it was really entertaining. Even though I am a Simpson's fan - I wasn't sure how the movie would be - but I give it a two thumbs. up. Â

Great stuff, definitely worth seeing onna big screen. Lot of gags they couldn't get away with doing on the network. Memorable line: "Somebody throw the goddamned bomb!!"
