                        1. Negative Calories

                          12.Feb.08, 20:50 GMT

The phrase negative calorie food is used to refer to foods that require more energy to digest than they provide nutritionally. The sad fact is, however, that all foods contain calories. However the body has one thing which actively works against you. It's the most efficient engine known to man. The calories delivered by even the lightest foods render many times more energy than is required to digest them, the effect of consuming them results in a net energy loss.Low nutrient, high cellulose foods like those listed in the below list are generally agreed to consume slightly more energy to digest than they provide nutritionally. These foods are great for potentially relieving the feeling of hunger without contributing very much to your total caloric intake. Relying on these foods for most meals will not provide enough nutrients.
